About Us
Bhagawati Hydropower Development Company Ltd. operates the 4,500 KW hydropower plant located on the Bijaypur river in Pokhara.
The company was Established on 3rd of Poush 2057 B.S. to develop, construct and operate hydroelectricity projects all around Nepal. It has been operating and contributing to the national production of electricity since the last 12 years.
The company has a license to operate and produce electricity for 35 years from the date of operation.
Details of our PPA
The company supplies the produced electricity to the National grid as per the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) with the NEA (Nepal Electricity Authority).
The current electricity sale rate to NEA is 5.08 Rs. per KWH during the rainy season and 8.89 Rs. per KWH during the dry season.
